Who am I?
My name is Ella Hartrampf and my passion for filmmaking comes from my adoration of a story, the vision, and my love for helping clients and peers curate a beautiful piece of art. With 8 years of experience in the film industry, my purpose is to create impactful media that inspires others and stays true to the heart of a project. From pre-production to the final cut I ensure quality, communication, creativity, and understanding through my work ethic, emphasis on open discussion, and attention to detail.
With a Bachelor of Science in Media and Entertainment and a minor of Music and Entertainment Business, I combine impactful storytelling with the importance of lasting effects and outreach.
Humble Beginnings To An Exciting Career
My love for videography began when I was 10, when I chased around my friends with a little camera and edited together my first ever film. That love expanded when I took my first official film class at age 15, where I was primarily in charge of editing and capturing audio for the short film ‘Pieces of Us’ which won 2nd Place in the novice division for the 2019 Fulton County Film Festival. That project truly sparked my passion for film and I knew then that filmmaking is what I would pursue for life.
Through film internships, I have been privileged to meet and work with Emmy winning cinematographers and editors on music videos, short films, features, commercials, social media content, and so much more. I am a partner and co-founder for Charitable Media Productions, a video organization that predominately curated free media for nonprofits to expand outreach. I also own my own wedding videography business where I connect with clients on their special days and work well under pressure to curate a meaningful story about such an important day.

My main passion is directing the light and composition of a project, helping the director visually communication their vision so that it makes sense and helps capture their idealized feeling.

I love bringing together a project and seeing how it comes to life in post-production. I solo edit all of my wedding videos and personal projects, and have been an Assistant Editor on a multitude of music videos through White Flame Studios.

When I am not pursuing a video project, photography helps fuel my soul. I have always had a love for photography- utilizing both film and digital. The composition of a photo and the exposure levels always intrigue me, I am interested in how I can alter perspective and create a specific mood through my photography.
